I’m a law professor and Star Trek fan (I have created citation exercises that are based on Star Trek, and my office is full of ST toys & figures). The cases are great, but have you ever read Star Trek law review articles? The most famous is Paul Joseph & Sharon Carton, The Law of the Federation: Images of Law, Lawyers, and the Legal System in “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, 24 U. Toledo L. Rev. 43 (1992).
